YBUL - EDF Sustainable Ocean Joint Program Print

YBUL is negotiating with the Environmental Defense Funds (EDF) for a collaborative implementation of a YBUL-EDF Sustainable Ocean Joint Program.  In brief, the objectives of the program include: "... develop policy options and field level best practices in promoting the national, regional and local marine biodiversity conservation, sustainable marine based industrial processes, as well as community food supplies for sustainable livelihood."  Terms of collaboration are being negotiated and hopefully by July 2015 the program will be up and running.

YBUL believes that Indonesian government presently works very hard in improving its governance for managing the country's last resources: marine and fisheries.  It is our hope that YBUL-EDF Sustainable Ocean joint program, which comes very timely within the context, will be able to meaningfully contribute to such efforts.

YBUL is looking forward to start implementing the YBUL-EDF joint program.
